What healthy Japanese foods !!

Introduction
This is from ancient times, Japanese think hard about good for health or bad for health even though they did not know about chemical knowledge. Now we live in an age where affluent food is. As a rule, some people have some problems about health.That is why I recommended to everyone to eat Japanese foods. Japanese foods give careful consideration to a health. Japanese foods are pretty healthy and delicious. In this paper, I will explain about the traditional Japanese-style meals, relation with health, proverbs related to foods. I truly want to introduce about reasonable healthy Japanese foods to people want to improve your health and add interest to what you eat.

The traditional Japanese-style meals

To live long of Japanese foods. Japan is famous as the average life span is long. I think the reason is there are a lot of a balance diet. Japanese live on rice and dishes that are a perfect match for rice. Miso soup is a typical one. Health physics's Dr. Akiko Sugawara 1996 said

"It is important vitamin B3 when you aborb calcium. Accordingly Miso supe of stock(in Japanese style) containing a lot of vitamin B3 plus it containing calcium. That is why Miso soup is perfect soup. In addition, If you want to aborb more effect on you. You should add touf. one reason is because is, when it is the tofu + wakame(a kind of seaweed), the calcium of 2 times or more can take. It become containing the calcium about a cup of milk."
The ingredients of miso is soy bean. The soy bean has a lot of nutrient plus the soy bean is an element of good for us health.

And then Japanese style pickles also includes a lot of a lactic acid bacterium. They make health for people.

The main dish is usually is fish. Of course, Japanese also eat meat. Let me explain about fish. Japanese eat raw fish. Maybe some people think about that is unpleasant. Please try to eat. Anyway we Japanese use soy sauce and wasabi (Wasabi is spice to eat raw fish). That has reason which is wasabi has an effect of sterilize even though for only dainty bits.They were tought by ancient people even though they didn't have chemical knowledge. We also have many proverbs related to foods.I will come back to this later. Japanese foods make the base of a rational thinking.

Do you know what sukiyaki is? There are konnyaku that is the ingredients of the sukiyaki.Do not put on near meat because meat will become hard when if you cook the sukiyaki. You should separate a little bit from meat. Konnyaku include of that an ingredient but konnyaku clean up a bowel. It is important to eat to live on rice people because grains is hard to digest. There are many rational things.

Relation ship with health

Jpanese food's materials have a lot of good for human beings. And then they cook most effective methed.

One Japenese Mr.Matsushita said

"Japanese Food is healthy.

Three reasons:
(1) Food materials themselves are, less oily when cooking.

(2) The Japanese diet is built around boiled rice.

(3) Fish rather than meat and lots of vegetables. However, more sugar is used in Japanese cuisine than in others (forexample, French or Italian), which may be a problem."

The Japanese foods are now being recognized once again.


  • Japanese favorite drink "A green tea". The green tea include many ingredients. For example Catechin, Flavonoid, and Vitamin C.

    According to researchers,

    "green tea has been rediscovered as a rare beverag which brings relief to the body as well as the mind. Catechin, a kind ot tannin, is the largest constituent (accounting for 10 to 20 percent) in green tea leaves. It dissolves into water, giving the tea astringency.

    Preventing canncer; The anti-cancer effect of catechin has been spotlighted most, so tests to scientifically verify the effect of catechin's preventing cancer are now in progress in the US as well as Japan." [International Society for Educational Information (ISEI),(1999)]


    The green tea has those ingredients that's why expecially we drink a lot when we got a cold.

  • A super ingredient of soy bean.

    The soy bean also has many ingredients. United Soybean Board also told us on their 1999 Annual Report:

And soy products offer numerous additional health benefits, from lowering risk of cancer, osteoporosis and other chronic diseases to easing the symptoms of menopause.     It is popular that the soy bean will prevent cancer in Japan. The following is the other report(Health Net.com, 1997):

    So Japan has many products of soy bean. Including Miso paste, soy sauce, fermented soybeans ( name is nattou ), tofu ( to recommend cooking of tofu )

    Proverbs related to foods

    In Japanese "Goma wo suru" a literal translation "To grind sesame" which is the same meaning in English is "Butter up" We grind sesame because when the sesame is done with the mortar, are smoll parts of the seed still left and they are attached to the sides of the morter, this proverb is used to flatter beauty in a person.

    Conclusion
    Japanese foods are truly good for health. Japanese diet independent of medicine too much and then it adopt for natural foods. That is why Japanese live long. They are comparatively slim. If you realy want to improve, you should eat Japanese foods. Japanese foods are fabulous!!
