Shakespeare

Introduction

There are a lot of well-known writers throughout the world that I could chose to write about. I chosed to write about Shakespeare because he is one of the greatest playwright in the world and I like very much his work. For me he is the first step into literature and he is an inspiration for the other writers. You could write a book about his life history and all his work. Therefore I am going to write a summary of his life and about his famous novels and comedies, which have been touching the hearts of people through the years. He still remains the best writer. His novels are still played in the most famous theatres and movie theatres.

Shakespeare's Life

William Shakespeare, England's greatest poet was born in April,1564 in Stratford -upon-AvWarwickshire, about 100 miles northwest of London. Shakespeare died 52 years later on April 26, 1616. The son of a tradesman and alderman of Stratford, John Shakespeare .

He married to Anne Hathaway on November 28, 1582. They had three children: Susana and the other two named Judith and Hamnet were twins. Susana was born 1583 married with John Hall in 1607 and died in 1649. Judith was born in 1585 married with Thomas Quiney in 1616 and died in 1662. Hamnet was born in1585 and died in 1596 at the age of 11 years.

This half-timbered building was the Shakespeare family home, where William Shakespeare spent his childhood days and which remained in the ownership of the Shakespeare family and their relations until 1806.

The approach to the Birthplace is through a beautiful, traditional English garden which is laid out and planted with trees, plants, herbs and flowers mentioned in the poet's works. William worked at the Globe Theatre and appeared in many small parts. He first appeared in public as a poet in 1593. Shakespiare used to read the classic, Italy plays, mythology and also the bible. He used to write about comedy, history, tragedy,poetry and romances. After his mother died he wrote: Twelfth Night, Hamlet, Othello, Macbeth etc. He was consider to be the greatest dramatist in the world. Also he was able to create characters that are so realistic.

Here Are His Some of His Most Famous Work

Othello

Othello is one of William Shakespeare's best known and loved tragedies. Jealousy is the most malevolence that happened in this play. Othello loved Desdemona and would have done anything for her. He killed her because he thought she was unfaithful. He was not thinking about his reputation. He felt terrible because he lost the one he loved. Once he found out that his reason for killing her was not true, he feel very guilty. He just killed the woman he loved. then, he killed himself because he made a fatal mistake. the belief that Othello killed himself because he feared that his reputation was ruined. he killed himself in an attempt to save his image.

Hamlet

This story is about a prince who have an indecision of the murder of his father. His mother got married with Claudius Hamlet's uncle, just when his father's die. Hamlet lamated his mother behaviour, Gertrude. The ghost of his father appears to Hamlet and told him that Claudius killed him, informs him that he was poisoned by Claudius and asks Hamlet to avenge his death. Hamlet fall in lovesick with Ophelia. Hamlet thinks that she turns against him like everyone else. Hamlet hears that Ophelia has killed herself. And the Hamlet feels guilty and then he killed hinself. Hamlet is based on a 12th century tale by Saxo Grammaticus, which Shakespeare most certainly never saw, and is part of dramas which were extemely popular around the turn of the seventeenth century. This story is about a man that become like a tragic hero. Hamlet died for his principles and died honorably.

Romeo & Juliet

William Shakespeare write Romeo & Juliet in 1593. Romeo & Juliet is a dramatic story and is one of the most romantic scenes in literature. The story is about a couple (Romeo & Juliet) that falled in love with each other without knowing that they belong to two different social classes. Their parents hate each other but their sons love each other. In the story they try to keep their love forever but in the end they both die.

Macbeth

Macbeth is one of the world's greatest tragedies. It consists of five acts, each with a variation of scenes. It's about Macbeth , a man who is obsessed with becoming king of Scotland. During the play, he faces many dilemmas after he kills a member of a monarchy. He not only loses faith in the world, but also in himself. And this starts after he kills the king in his sleep. Later on he attends to kill Banquo and his son, but his attempt was somewhat successful because Banquo's son manages to escape. Then Macbeth is getting plagued by the ghost of Banquo that makes him to lose the control of his mind. People start to suspect something about him. Even though he had problems, he still consulted with witches who they tell him that Birnam Wood will be the only one that could hurm. He kills Lady Macduff and her son and when her husband, Macduff learns about this, he confrontes him in battle field, where Macbeth dies. This is the end of the story.
